I am collaborating with urban photographers by illustrating Ai, a character who represents the idea of love, to create a new series of artworks to show that Love can happen anywhere.
In this new series, I work with beautiful photos taken in Japan. I believe cute artworks get attention. The important question is, what do I do with the attention? I hope to remind more people that with love, anything is possible and that this love we need, can happen anywhere.
These works are built on the back of my past 18 years, where I've been sharing Ai's message of love to children, including to young survivors of earthquakes and tsunamis in China, Costa Rica, Indonesia, Japan, Taiwan.
