As inheritors of our fragile planet, four 13 and 14-year olds from Norway went on a skiing crusade to the melting North Pole with a mission to open our eyes to climate change and examine how the changes are affecting their future. At the North Pole, during six days in extreme conditions, the four polar kids got to see for themselves that one of the coldest places on earth is melting. The changes were more visible than they had expected.
Now, they are headed to the UN Climate Summit in Paris and are facing their biggest challenge yet: reaching President Obama, to tell him what they saw: one of the coldest places on earth is melting. In Paris, they are hoping to make Obama promise to put children first when negotiating climate change treaties.

Thousands of kids have already convinced the Norwegian Prime Minister to meet them, and on their journey to the North Pole they also met with His Royal Highness the Crown Prince Haakon of Norway

The kids even met with UN secretary General, Ban Ki-moon who was so impressed by the kids that he invited them to the Climate Summit
The skied 68 miles for six days in -22 °F to reach the North Pole. The frozen journey was all about climate, and with the objective of getting a meeting with President Barack Obama to tell him about the effects
