I usually love the entire Christmas season. In fact I start getting antsy to decorate when others are putting up their Halloween decor. This year I just haven't felt like doing anything. I bought most of the gifts for my kids, grandkids, parents and even my wife all online. I haven't enjoyed the shopping experience like I usually do, and I didn't even get my Christmas cards this year. I usually do that the week after Thanksgiving. I didn't even put up our tree. I brought all the decor in from the shed and it sat in our living room for a week before my wife and our 12 year old daughter finally set up and decorated the tree.
Anyway, I just don't feel Christmasy this year. I would rather just stay home and hibernate.
