Product design is a well-paid profession for a reason. While it may be tempting to cut costs and corners by going DIY with a YouTube tutorial instead of hiring a professional product designer, unforeseen consequences lurk for the untrained and unprepared. That said, it can be quite fun to have a laugh at other people's mistakes, and mistakes are no more obvious than when it comes to crappy design and engineering because they are there for all to see!
