St. Anthony of Padua Basilica in Rybnik - a church in the city centre in Rybnik built inIn 1993 Pope John Paul II gave the church the title of Basilica Minor. This basilica was one of the churches of the Great Jubilee of the Year 2000. The temple is also often called the "Cathedral of Rybnik Land". It is the highest temple in Upper Silesia - the towers of the basilica they rise to a height of 95 metres, making them visible from afar, no matter from which side you enter Rybnik.
