“We found Benson 5 years ago, he was roaming the streets of Dubai. His old family moved away and left him behind, so we adopted him and brought him to the USA.
He loves his dad and his tuna, he is quite a calm and patient kitten. After adopting Benson, we soon came to notice that every time a camera was pointed at him, he would stop moving and sit very still! However, taking videos of him got difficult and we tried our luck with some glasses. Benson took to them absolutely immediately."
"After a while, we got a little bold with clothes, and then even hats. He was sporting a whole look except for the shoes. He absolutely hates any type of socks and shoes. Every morning he waits for the alarm to ring and then he follows my husband around everywhere. He watches him get into his car and when it’s time for my husband to be back, Benson sits by the door waiting.”
Some cats talk the talk (when it comes to mealtimes, that is), but Benson knows how to walk the walk, and to be honest, he might just be our new favorite runway model. Benson is a rescue that came all the way from Dubai, and embarked upon his journey into fashion after his owners noticed that he seemed to like wearing glasses. The cat would stay still for owners to take the pictures, and after that, they just decided to take it one step at a time and see how it goes.
We think most of us have noticed, that some cats might approve of a cosy pet store sweater or even a funny hat if the mood strikes, but Benson takes his wardrobe very seriously. For example, to combat the chilly weather, the cat's owners dress Benson in a parka, styled with a cute winter hat, or when it's a hot summer day you can see the fashionista cat rocking the beach outfits with some really serious sunglasses. Benson's outfits are definitely made to fit his haute cat-ture sense of style and bring out his unique personality!
