I do not believe it is stupid of them to let their neighbor know that their dog is on that hydrant. I beileve the point of letting them know is because their dog got loose, it's not in their yard, it is unaccompanied by anyone so once it does get off the hydrant hopefully it won't get hit by a vehicle or get lost or stolen. It's an unexpectedly cute photo that i would appreciate getting if it were my dog and i was not there to take it.

My 2 sisters and I all have names starting with the letter B so it was normal to be called the wrong name.
They forgot the "bird" 〰️ in the distance!
