Because some people might like seeing someone like them be happy. It gives them hope.
Or she could just be Pansexual and she told the public about it because she wanted to. That's a valid and probably correct hypothesis.

It was made by Flanagan, a master of horror. I've read the book—and all of Stephen King's books. I don't think the remake is bad. Besides, it's just a trailer.

This is a Mike Flanagan show approved and made with Stephen King himself and it's not the first time those two people work together to bring King's stories to the screen. I fully trust Mike Flanagan to tell yet another King story and make it with his own twist, I'm also happy Rahul Kohli will be in this because I loved him in Midnight Mass and Samantha Sloyan will I'm sure play the "religious fanatic" part perfectly as usual !

So...the reason rewriting Snape as a black man is such a problem, is James and mainly Sirius humiliate Snape in front of the school, hanging him upside down...from a tree. Like a lynching. He grew up in poverty, wore beat-up clothes, came from a broken family with an a*****e father, and found solace in Lily when they were friends. Then, after he’s bullied at school, loses the love of his life because they had a falling out, and had grown up in some of the worst conditions imaginable, he joins a gang of racists called the D***h Eaters.

I hate that she traveled to one of the most disgustingly backwards states in the US in order to try to justify her breach of contract. Texas does not give a single shít about women's rights, nor about the child itself; they only care about being pro-life. And it's fine that she chose to breach her contract and not get an abortion when the couple ordered it, but then she should be forced to keep the child herself and should not be paid whatever surrogacy fees she was going to be paid. She's carrying the fetus, but it's NOT her child. She's performing a service. Contractually, if she agreed that the biological parents have control over the fetus' medical care/status, she's completely in the wrong for deciding not to get an abortion and that she's going to be some kind of savior to a child who will be born with a serious life-threatening defect - even with surgery, the child could still díe later on in childhood/life. She signed the contract, she agreed to its terms.
This has NOTHING TO DO with free speech! Free speech means the government can't put you in jail for criticising it. You can say trump is a terrible president, vance fûcked a couch, and mike johnson is gay, without being prosecuted. That's what the first amendment is all about. It isn't about you throwing a cissy fit refusing to cut some lady's hair.

It is still part of the museum, and Fashion is a form of art so it is not useless at all.
The Met Gala exist to finance the Museum of New York. But sure, it's "obscene" and useless.
