The book "Alive" by Piers Paul Read gives detailed account of this situation. Those 70 days have been described in an extremely amazing way. Go for it

This is a video on the subject by Caitlin Doughty, she's a death educator and mortician. The video goes into how the plane crashed, the difficult decision to eat the dead, and the worries the survivors had about how society would treat them when they returned.
