Michelle C: Nothing wrong with this, in fact, I'd describe it as the minimum for being a manager. ... Nobody should be placed on a pedestal (and have a giant article written about them) for this type of interaction -- unless the vast majority are so much sh*ttier by comparison.
Ross: If you haven't worked in a school and don't know what is going on, you shouldn't comment .... T.O.Bruno clearly described part of a *typical* workday (doesn't mention the emotional toll and 16 hours of overtime put in during each school week).

I take it you’ve never been through a tornado or hurricane. Keep in mind that an F5 tornado can have wind speeds over 300 mph (500 km/h). Even the more common F2 tornadoes have wind speeds in excess of 113 mph (181 km/h). The only realistic way of building a structure to survive that is to build underground, which is both expensive and difficult to live with. Hurricane resistant structures are a bit easier, but still have to deal with both high winds, at least 71 mph (119 km/h), as well as flooding so they are not exactly easy to build either.
Europeans are touchy. 😂
