I've had almost exact same scenario with my contacts. Sometimes you have no choice, never caused me any problem when I had to, like an eye infection. My eye doc said saliva is very similar to tears.

I often shop at Goodwill. I wore a shirt all day with the little green tag showing. If anyone noticed, they didn't say anything.
Did you know that a couple of years ago, there were more selfie related deaths than shark related deaths?

I'm in Canada and someone was flying a drone over our place a couple nights ago. Rules may be draconian, but no one follows them anyway.
haha! Don't feel too bad. I went to work a couple years ago wearing a sleeveless T with a pocket - backwards. Someone came up to me and asked "Why do you have a pocket on your back?" I was also over 50, lol!
