A good response is, "Please don't do that to the poor kid." I've used that one successfully.

Er, why do people want to wear pictures of other people anyway? It seems like they have no identity of their own so are trying to borrow one.

I read that in China, all children will now be required to learn AI from age 6. I'd say this is to keep them from learning to do their own thinking because of being dependent on AI. Not good.

It's absolutely legitimate to want to know your roots, especially family medical history. I knew from infancy that I was adopted, so there was no surprise. I decided to look for my birth mother when I was in my early 20s and my Mom and Dad were supportive. They said they would want to know, too. They had met her personally, and my Mom told me everything she could remember. They didn't feel threatened. I was lucky to have good parents. When I met my birth mother, it was OK, but I wouldn't have wanted to grow up in that family. My brother was also adopted from a different family, but he had no interest in knowing about them.

I have a friend who wanted to name their kid Knoah. I begged them not to do that to the poor kid. Happily, they thought about it and gave him a much more normal name.

I was blessed to have been told from infancy that I was adopted, that I was chosen.
