That looks so incredibly painful. I hope she is finished with needing surgeries. I know people with this and the only other results I’ve seen that did amazing things was my step child received human growth hormones over a period of years and he managed to grow into a very good height in the end. Thankfully, his particular issue is less problematic for boys.

The years were very kind to her.

Seems to me the vast majority of negative comments are from people who envy her the option of getting out of the rat race because they can’t. How many of us would continue working if we won enough money on a lottery or were given a substantial inheritance? Some would, I’m sure, but most would gladly opt out if their standard of living remained unchanged or improved. She isn’t not working at all, she’s looking after the home and their kids, she simply doesn’t have a paid job. That’s still work! So how about instead of sneering at someone for being privileged, we acknowledge she recognized her limitations in the neurotypical heļl we call “working for a living” and deliberately chose something that works for her? And how about we don’t say that people who are so disabled by neurodivergence they can’t hold a job shouldn’t have children because they will pass their frustration onto them? They also shouldn’t have children in case they pass on the things that made their life so difficult. There are some disorders, conditions, that would, did, give me pause when considering having kids, which only served to strengthen my choice to be childfree. I confess I feel a certain way about people having children they can’t afford and those who abúse them. These seem much worse to me.

It says she was only diagnosed last year, so she didn't know she was AuDHD when she had kids (depending on their ages). Now, as someone who is also AuDHD, I can't imagine having kids, but having autism and ADHD doesn't mean you can't be a good parent.
