I Photograph Families Around The World To Show How Diverse And Similar We Are

Thank you so much for your input! It's great to be able to start a dialogue about my imagery. I can see how the boy in this image looks sad, though I assure you he loves and is loved greatly by his adoptive family. I chose this frame because for me it illustrates so accurately any teenager being forced to take an unwanted photo with their family, and the young angst that is portrayed from doing something you believe may be "uncool." It's funny to me because I can remember so well being that teen. It's something else to be on the other side of the camera now ;) Best, Michele
