Absolutely brilliant! All of these little touches are called "delighters". I try and put some into my software from time to time.
Bogart's last film, The Harder they Fall, about boxing, One day, one of the extras who was a boxer in the film goes out to lunch and was charmed by his waitress. He said "will you marry me if i could get Bogart as my best man?" She said yes, and so did Bogie. And they really did live happily ever after.
