I have a story, myself. In 8th grade, I was surprised that a classmate of mine (who was African-American) was reading manga. I didn't think he was the kind of guy to do that, so I asked, "oh, you read manga?" He retorted with "You think I like anime because I'm black?" I was shocked at this, as I had never truly experienced racial stereotypes (thank god, I grew up in Minnesota, this was in Florida) and said "No, no, I just didn't think you were the type of person to read manga!" It really opened my eyes to how cruel stereotypes and assuming what people do based on those stereotypes can be. I learned it embarrassingly late, too.

It isn't that f*****g bad, 15 seconds at most, stop making a mountain out of a molehill. Also what I am saying is highly controversial, but please don't downvote me, as I wouldn't like to be banned
