I get it. My ex is older than my parents. He just turned 61 and my dad turned 60 a few months later. My mother is 5 years younger ish. But age is just a number. You can't help who you care for. I now work in care and have a client who is younger than my ex. Thata a tough pill to swallow. Expecially as his main gripe was my age and the fact he didn't think I would care for him as he aged lol 😆 x

I'm so sorry you're suffering. On some level you do know that your loss would greatly affect the people who love you. And they love you for a reason. If you lose hope in yourself, try and hang on to the fact that there are people in your life who believe you add value to theirs.
