Maybe doctors should stop telling women what they're experiencing is normal or it's just because of weight. It once took me a year of being in screaming pain every day, two 911 calls on myself and one doctor telling me to go to mental health before any doctor agreed to even run tests! Turns out I'd been having complications from a uterine ablation I'd had years before and I required a hysterectomy. That's a year of my life I'll never get back. So, yes, now I look stuff up, go in with a few ideas and will definitely question something when I'm told it's "normal". I'm not a doctor but I know what normal feels like and I know when something is wrong.
