I'm an English teacher who likes to draw. I'm also about to become a father for the first time. In about seven weeks. I'm excited and terrified.

I don't like sand, it's coarse, and rough and irritating, and it gets everywhere!
Never lose that part of youth. It's what makes the ravages of time easier to handle.

Funnily enough this was the first time the wife and I went to the cinema since our kid was born. I enjoyed it.
I recently disassembled his crib and started installing gates. He's 500 days old today 😍
