His whole left side of his body was just skin no fur from the fire. I thought at first he must have had a bad skin condition until the vet told me it was fire related. Bruiser was so trusting and loving. Not sure how old he was. Came home one day to see this sick,malnourished cat covered in ticks and fleas. His nose was bleeding from the cancerous growth too. He couldn't eat cat biscuits due to a severe mouth infection. Bought him some soft cat pate and he ate as if he'd not been fed in weeks. Following day took him to a vet who said he was purring away whilst being examined, normally unheard of. Found out he had to have 6 teeth extracted once his mouth infection cleared. He was treated for worms, ticks and fleas. Given an injection and a course of antibiotics for 8 weeks twice a day. The vet said he might be between 5-10 years old. Hard to tell on a stray malnourished cat. The vet predicted he may live a few years until the cancerous nose spread. He lived just over that. RIP 💙
