The statue is kinda made for the tourists... it is catholic symbol anyway, which shows that the builders are atheist also :D

There are many other places that should be included in this list. For example, The Seven Rila Lakes and the fact that Rila Mountain is estimated to be one of the energy centres in Europe (in a spiritual way). :)
