I know they often leave them off for shots, I just think it looks goofy, aside from the fact that it does get rid of the giant stupid Canikon and Sony lens caps logos. I don't keep a photo blog so I don't have to worry about people asking "What's in your bag?". That, other than a cute kitty resting in it, is the only reason I can see to shoot your bag. It's mostly masterbatory, plus it's rare that photographers can fit all their gear in one bag so it's only a photo of selections anyway.
