Mary is an artist known on her social networks as "Drew animal." During quarantine, she decided to take the funniest cat memes and draw them to improve her drawing skills. Her Instagram account opened 8 months ago and has already gained over 16 thousand followers.

The artist told Bored Panda that she has loved animals very much since she was a child and even counted some of them as her best friends. She said that every time she saw a cat on the street, she took pictures.
In April 2020, quarantine and self-isolation were declared in Russia and as a result, Mary was bored.
“One day, I decided to draw a cat because I always dreamed about it. It wasn’t very good, but I liked it. After that, I have been continuing to draw and to improve my skills. As a result, now I'm good at it and I quite enjoy my drawings."
