Gwyneth Paltrow confirmed a quirky piece of presidential trivia during her spicy rendezvous on the show Hot Ones.
Her language, directed at former President Bill Clinton, was just as spicy as the wings she devoured on the show, where celebrities are interviewed by host Sean Evans over a platter of super spicy chicken wings.
Among the many hot questions on the show, Gwyneth was asked whether Bill had actually snoozed through a screening of her hit 1996 movie Emma at the White House.

“Is it true that Bill Clinton passed out asleep during a White House screening of Emma?” Sean asked the founder and CEO of the lifestyle brand Goop.
“True!” the actress replied. “He was snoring right in front of me. I was like, ‘Wow, I guess this is going to be a real hit movie.’”
“But it was! So f--- you, Bill Clinton!” she added.
A hit it certainly was, raking in nearly $40 million worldwide against a modest budget of less than $8 million, not to mention snagging an Oscar win for Best Original Score and also bagging an Oscar nomination for Best Costume Design.

While the former president may have dozed off and missed out on the charm and wit of Emma firsthand, the film remains a beloved adaptation of Jane Austen's novel and a significant milestone in Gwyneth’s illustrious career.
The award-winning actress, who has starred in Iron Man, also spoke about Hollywood's obsession with big-budget superhero movies.
“If I look at the industry as a whole, there’s this sort of big push into superhero movies,” she said on the show.
“I mean, you can only make so many good ones that feel truly original, and yet there’s still, you know, always trying to reach as many people as possible, which sometimes hinders quality or specificity or real point-of-views.”

The Shallow Hal actress also noted that many movies from the early days of her distinguished career would likely not be approved for production today.
"I grew up doing those movies, and I sometimes lament the fact. Like, I look back at some of the movies I made in the ’90s and think, 'That just wouldn’t get made now,'" Gwyneth said.
