For the first time in forever I had a crush on someone but I’m 100% sure she’s straight and won’t go out with me. I will be moving away from her soon and just want to tell her that I like her. I don’t expect her to like me back but it’s a good thing to get it off my chest. How can I do this without making it akward? Also, what made you realize that you were in love?

I think a good way to do so is via letter or email of some sort. That way if it goes wrong you don't have to see them
