At school, a kid named Sebastian (yes, real name, I harbor no guilt) always makes fun of me for almost everything, from being smart to having the silliest kid in class as a friend to drawing fake creatures. I am searching for insults to say before I go back to school even though every time I speak he repeatedly yells "shut up" at me. He always says I talk too much and then spews cr*p for 5 minutes.
Extra stuff: We are both middle schoolers, but I have been in a bunch of gifted programs and he has been in ISS a record-breaking amount of times. He's the kind of guy who would make a Reddit account that people think is for a ban speedrun but he just says things like that to everyone. He has asked me and my friend "Are you pride or normal" multiple times like when did straight become more "normal"? And I read Warriors, Wof, etc. and listen to singers who make what most people would call "furry music" (ivycomb, when skates sing, yonkagor, etc.) but it's just music and what's with the hate, and this is grounds for being called a furry apparently.

Ah the "shut up" bully, for these kinds of kids i find it most effective to either outright ignore their existence or (if youre petty like me) turn on copycat mode everytime he says shut up
For example, youre talking your normal deets and he says shut up, you tell him shut up back real sassy like with a laugh... after a few rounds of this they usually back off

What the hell is'pride or normal?' This person sucks. I'm sorry they're treating you this way. I hope things turn around. As for comebacks when they tell you to shut up...
"Could you demonstrate how?"
"I'm sorry, do you need a minute to catch up?"

Politely tell them "I am unable to accommodate your request at this time" then keep on talking as if you're not at all concerned about him
"F**k off" is always a classic, but based on what you've said, I think that's the reaction they want from you. Best of luck, and regardless of anything know how awesome you are. That's why they're targeting you, because they feel inadequate.

1. You first.-----------2. smirk and give them a look with eye contact, say nothing give a nod and walk away. Every time you see them in the hallway give them "the look"-------------3. You're not the boss of me.------------------ 4. Mock the way he says shut up in a whiny way-----------------------As for being called a furry or anything else the responses are "So?" __ "and?"___ "jealous?" and wait for a possible reply to which you ask how do YOU know so much about it? *Ignore them unless they get physically violent. Middle school is worse for it than High School.

Try not to listen to him. Tell someone else abt it, A parent, teacher. Everyone can be an idiot, some more than others. The kid that was mean to me grew up and we are friends. The kid i was mean to still holds a grudge. Or if you are fast kick him in between the legs and run as fast as you can lol. Dont do that though. Good luck and things will change no matter what.

OP, I want to start by saying that in no way are you wrong. Dear seb who I will from now on be calling this and possibly increasingly vulgar names is quite the immature teenage brat. I say this with a certificate in immature teenager, and ex-ignorant conservative child, due to being raised in a highly traditional chinese community. I’m going to say that you should definitely never take this lying down because victims who are taught to be quiet will never cease being so, and I highly encourage you to flip him off. I’m pretty socially awkward, so I’m unsure if “you first” is a good response, but that’s what immediately came to mind. I discourage violence, but for saying the words “are you pride or normal” he will have to catch these bisexual hands. Call him a hypocrite for blabbing all the time. Tell him that HE talks too much.
I don’t know what the ISS is except for International Space Station, but I have a feeling they would’ve thrown him into the cold arms of empty space and called it a net good for humanity, so I doubt he’s ever been. Congratulations though, for getting into so many gifted programs! But remember that your mental health is also important, and to manage your time well and maintain a healthy balance between work and having fun. I’ve been there, especially if you have strict parents, and it’s difficult not to start spiraling if you don’t. And please never lose your sense of self, whether you are heteronormative or not, it’s important to be accepting of other people. Also, inform him that the first three letters of LGBTQ+ already contains three times as many sexualities as “straight”. Don’t feel pressured to change your reading tastes to HIS preference. When I was younger, I loved warriors and WoF, and it definitely helped shape me into a better writer. My bestie also listens to ivycomb, and while I don’t listen to the same kinds of music, I definitely don’t hate on it, and neither should he. Being a furry or not being one are both okay and don’t hurt anyone.
Finally, I just want to end by saying that he’s a selfish little b***h and I will personally pitch him into the rainbow mountain of Gay Horrors™ /s. Sorry this was so long, but I have a lot of opinions and I also never shut up.
