I would invent something that puts people in other's perspective. Like reverse roles in an argument and shows facts that the other knows. I call it the Empathizer, because empathy is the act of putting oneself into other's shoes.

Probably an engine that could run off of plastic with no waste or anything. Help fix global warming. Or an anti racist-homophobic thingy. And some way to tell my past self not to do x thing because it’s stupid.

I’d have to say a machine or something that can rewind time and let you erase things you did in the past that you regret. Dunno what I would call it though
