There's always the obvious advice like "change diapers," but what are some of the little things that made a difference to you that your partner did, or you wish they did, to make being a new mom/parent easier?

Feeding a baby is a team effort! Nursing mammas need lots of water and extra calories a day to support breastfeeding. Partners can take on prepping water bottles and food (both regular meals and snacks) so that New Mama can have the energy and resources to have a strong milk supply. And then there's bottle and pump cleanup that is a continual ongoing chore that mammas definitely shouldn't have to do all by themselves.
You'll think she wants you to do grand gestures to show support, but really what she'll need is for you to take on more of the little stuff that piles up that culturally tends to be "wife's work." Meal planning, vacuuming, tidying, meal prep, dusting, and laundry are the biggies. There's a book out there called "You Don't Need to Slay My Dragons, Just Take Out The Trash" that teaches that to build connection, trust, and love you gotta do the small stuff every day, without being asked, and without expecting praise for it. Super important all the time, but especially when there's a new baby around.

From a godsister and church daycare worker: Take a Break every now and then;your family will not mind looking after the little ones(in fact they might enjoy it) and you need to rest.
