Hey Pandas, What Have You Spent Too Much Money On That You Don't Regret At All? (Closed)

After my grandmother passed away, my brothers and I inherited a small amount of money. My younger brother and I used part of it for a 3 week tour of Ireland, something we were always discussing with our late grandmother but never had the funds to go. No regrets at all. I'm sure she would had approved us using some money to do something we really wanted to do in our lifetime.

Quiet-close toilet lids! I felt a little stupid paying the extra for them, but I LOVE that there are no slamming toilet lids in my house.

My mom was the one who wanted a full blooded chihuahua. I didn't - we had always exclusively gotten shelter animals my entire life. She was sick so I bought her a chihuahua. Luck was with me he was on sale - he also became a legit service dog for her and my grandmother not just an emotional support dog. He's 12 now, retired since 2016, and recently diagnosed with congestive heart failure. He's responding to the medicine but I don't know how I would have survived the last 12 years without him. I keep telling him he's got to hang on until he's 15 at the least. So far he's doing well, and my vet is keeping an eye on his health.

I have no regrets about getting him, and he's been the best purchase in my entire life.

My books. I have way too many and I’ll get many more. I can never get rid of them. If I remember a part of a book that I don’t have anymore it will drive me insane until I rebuy and reread it. I mainly buy really old historical romance. No clue why. I don’t enjoy them a ton or anything. My manga and game guide collections are my treasures. I’m in the process of completing series that are out of print now. Expensive.

My house. I have a three car garage. I told my parents while I was in high school that I would consider myself successful if I had a three car garage. Growing up, we didn’t have a garage at all.
