I work in a small restaurant as a server, and I'd like some input on how I can approach this. One of my coworkers, a dishwasher, always pees on the toilet seat at work, and I have to clean it up a few times a day. It's gotten to the point that I have to check the bathroom after every time I see him go in there. The bathroom is for customers too, so I can't just not clean it. It's really gross, and I feel like I shouldn't have to clean up after a grown man.There's also a language barrier—he speaks very little English, and I know very little Spanish. So I'd either have to use Google Translate or tell my boss or the chef, who can speak both, to speak with him about it, which I feel awkward about. I don't want to embarrass him, but at the same time, there are other people here who have to use the bathroom, including customers. How should I approach this issue?

Install a very large magnifying glass in the right position over the bowl so he can see what he's working with.
Serious answer... next time you find it, fetch him, lead him by the hand and point it out. He will understand "no". Then demonstrate how the seat lifts. Communication isn't hard for something like this.
