My parents-in-law passed away before me and my husband married. So there's that. I've never met my sister's spouse's parents. So there's that. My husband's inlaws....I don't have a problem with them.

My in-laws visited to offer their condolences when my mother passed away. They stayed for whole 5 days in our city but at their daughter's place and visited us for couple of hours and in that short duration they demanded that I cooked and served them food. My MIL took me aside and suggested me not to let my father stay with us for long as it might be inconvenient to her son. This was the last straw for me. They have always been mistreating me and I thought that's just the typical in-laws behavior but this made me realize they are poison and pure evil with no trace of humanity. I no longer talk to care about them and my husband has been very supportive of this decision.
