Hey Pandas, What Was Your ‘Oh No, This Person Is A Total Creeper’ Moment When Meeting A Stranger? (Closed)

I was coming back home from a therapy session so I wasn't really paying attention to my surroundings, but a man caught my eyes at the end of the street. He must have been at least 60 years old and he was waiting at a crosswalk, but the weird thing I noticed was that he was looking at girls while not crossing the road, even after the lights turned green a couple times.

I thought it was weird so I turned my headphones off to be able to hear around me but kept them on to not look suspicious, and I crossed the road myself to take the tramway. After a dozen seconds I looked in my phone and he was following me. I went in the tramway and he still followed me so I tried to blend in the crowd, and after 30 minutes the tramway arrived at the end of the line, ran to my bus and carefully looked, and I saw him visibly pissed and looking all around him so I hide behind the bus curtains and waited until my bus left before finally relaxing.

So one of my friends is a rather pretty blue-eyed blonde and she lives in a tiny, very conservative village, so it's clear she's often a target of male attention. I've only heard her stories about creepy men, but one time I experienced her plight firsthand.
In her village, we sat down for a glass of coke, chatting, everything was fine, until an old dude, so drunk he could barely stand (it was before noon) stood at our table, ogling my friend and just muttering stuff like "pretty... girl... pretty..."
My friend looked unfazed, like it was just another Tuesday for her, which was probably true. I told the dude she's here with me and asked him to leave, and to this day, I hate myself for how weak and feeble I sounded; it was my first time dealing with such situation and I just wasn't as resolute as I probably should've been. In the end, the dude was guided back to his table by the owner.

Blind date arranged by my aunt; I agreed to it only because she insisted and praised the guy for being "such a good man".

So we meet and went to a restaurant. Far from my aunt's praise, there was nothing special about him. Except that he kept talking about his faith and God and how he traveled hundreds of kilometers to meet a wise priest who had advised him on how to find a good wife. I listened patiently, trying not to look bored. (Had I been older/ wiser, I would have seen the red flags).

Less than 2 hours after, out of the blue, he leans towards me, puts his arm around my neck and tries to kiss me by force. I was surprised and pushed him back in disgust. His reply: "Why are you reacting like this? What did you expect from a 33 y.o. man who is looking for his soul mate?" (I was 26).
Well, I expected some respect and decency, was that too much to ask? Obviously, that was our only date.

A few years later, I accidentally met him in a subway station. He was still looking for his "soul mate". We didn't speak, but he was reading a religious book called "The Ideal Husband, The Ideal Wife".

Not me, but my mum meeting the principal of one of the local primary schools. I remember her distinctly saying he seemed "off" and "creepy". I won't go into too much detail as the matter is still under investigation, but said principal has been charged with possession of child pornography.

Little old lady with walker knocked on my car window and asked for a lift home. Lived in transitional housing, taxis used for appointments. I felt sorry for her so agreed, it wasn't far at all. On the way starts telling me it was fated to meet me and all about her magic dimethyl sulfoxide, that is dissolving her cataracts, curing her hip, fixing her skin, curing her immune disorder. On and on all the way there. She ditched all her other meds and this is all we need.
I said nothing.

I was at a friend's house. His neighbour came to visit, I will call him L. He was an odd man. 6ft tall, a little overweight, with thick glasses and greasy lank hair that reached his collar. My friend had previously told me that L was a bit of a Ioner and didn't have many friends. I had not really met L before, only seen him in passing. That night, however, my skin started to itch and I didn't want to be anywhere near him. L was in the living room talking to my friend so I went to the kitchen/diner which was separate. Hearing L's voice made me feel vulnerable, afraid and like I should run. Like I had no way to defend myself and my adrenaline was spiking. L left. I told my friend that there was something deeply wrong with L and I never wanted to be around him. My friend reacted with anger and told me that I was being unfair to L and needed to apologise. I refused and stopped going round there. Approximately 5 years later, L was in the newspaper. He had been arrested for abusing his daughter and having a lot of child p**n on his computer.

I was at a busy bus stop downtown. This was back in the late 90s, about 1998, when I was 14/15. I didn't have a cell. So I relied on payphones and clocks around town. But sometimes I would just ask someone who may know the time.
So, I asked some young-ish guy, who seemed approachable, at the time. We got to chatting some small talk. We were taking the same bus and I decided to sit next to him to continue the conversation. He got to asking me how old I thought he was. 28 flashed in my head, and that ended up being his age. He thought I was 19. When I told him my real age, he was persistent in me ditching my curfew and going back to his place. I kept telling him that wasn't possible and that I really needed to get home. I was getting increasingly uncomfortable with the whole interaction. He kept repeating my age and how he could be arrested for talking to me, like he was really stoked about it. But I held my ground. He got off way before I did, luckily, so he didn't find out where I lived.
I did feel a bit embarrassed and stupid. I don't even want to know what would have happened if I took up his offer to go to his place.

I'm in my fifties so I've met quite a number of creeps, but I will tell you about the night I found out how truly inclusive the gay club is that I used to frequent. I had seen this guy there for years but we never spoke because he didn't smoke and outside the smoking lounge there was too much noise and stuff going on to have a conversation. Then this one night he sat down next to me. Now I had seen the swastika tattooed on his back as shirtless was the way to go in this club - it was hot in every sense of the word. I thought maybe it was supposed to be edgy or something. But he started talking and turned out to be an actual, East German nаzi. Jews this, Jews that, conspiracy theory there. Not sure if Pandas from a more rаcist society would be impressed, but I've encountered my fair share of cretins (and then some) and this one I'll never forget.

So this was way back when dating sites started and I put my photo up, only to take it down two days later after I got a message from a guy who liked to polish his black shiny car. Attached a photo, it was actually of a car. Blocked. About a month later I ran into him in a bar where luckily I knew a lot of people so I asked a male friend, tall with broad shoulders to block his view because he wouldn't stop staring at me. My friend escorted me home safely that night. The look in his eyes was very creepy and uncomfortable. He had the Kohberger stare and glare. But this was in the early 1990s.
