I have a friend who likes to make up conspiracy theories.
My favorite is "Kansas does not exist".
He was kind of joking, but he does have a habit of convincing himself of his own weird ideas.

I've heard a theory from a friend that interdimensional aliens "farm" and enslave humanity by extracting valuable mental resources and data from them. All of it, of course, isn't physical.

I like the Doppelgänger ones. Like James McCartney died in 1966 and was replaced by someone. Same with Avril Lavigne who "died in 2003" and is now replaced by someone who looks alike and is sending hidden hints and messages through songs.
