I was on a train with the wife heading into London to catch a show.
I had a random stranger in the seat across the isle says to me 'You seem like you know about stuff!', he then proceeded to ask me why they are called the 'Teenage mutant ninja TURTLES' when they are clearly Tortoises.

Being the insufferable know-it-all that I am, I explained to him that in Brittan they define the difference between the 2 as: 'Tortoise' is the land animal and 'Turtle' is water dwelling.
However in America 'Turtle' is used to cover all animals of that type (turtle, tortoise, terrapin, etc) and therefore, a tortoise is a type of turtle. As the show was made in the US, it follows the US naming.

Suitably impressed, he then asked me 'If they were teenagers, why were they trained to use weapons? Seems a bit irresponsible to me.'
I didn't have an answer that time.

Once me and my friend were walking to the DG to get drinks in our heavy makeup that definitely was a little strange, an old man was just staring at me. That old man then cam eup to me and said, "if your a boy, why big boobs?" Because I'm a male presenting person who looks 3 years too young, has a high voice, and breasts, I get that a lot. Along with the bathroom question from people I don't know.

I was in school. This new girl transferred in, and as we passed each other she licked her finger, and smeered her spit on my glasses. I was to shocked to say anything, just wiped my glasses on her shirt and walked on.

i was at the dollar store getting stuff for may mom, and some weirdo said to me "My mom wouldn't let me use her credit card, are you alone?" i completely BOOKED IT as fast as i could

I had someone complain to me (a complete stranger who was an adult while I was 12) that there was no toilet paper in her stall so she had to reach under another stall for some. Not the weirdest, but it is weird

Hanging out with my friends, a my hat blew off my head it had happened multiple times and so I just let it stay there. Then some dude who looked like he might've had a tough life walks up and tells me I dropped my hat.
Him: You dropped your hat
Me: (kinda embarrassed) I know
Him: Are you on drugs?
Me: No
Him: well you should be!

Well one day i was just minding my Business listening to music when a stranger offers me a corn dog. I bought it

(To my hubby) - some Asian tourists with limited English in a supermarket looking at all the different cartons of fresh fruit juices- looking very puzzled at one in particular - asked him to explain Cocktail. Thankfully it wasn’t what they thought it may have been. 😂😂😂

It was very early in the morning and I was sat enjoying coffee and some time out in the far corner of a deserted hospital cafe. The next thing I know there's a guy standing next to me, carrying a tray with an empty plate on it and asking why I'm standing on his breakfast ... Not entirely sure what that was about, but no, there wasn't any actual food on the floor...

"Do women have bones in their boobs?!? Cause chickens have bones when i eat chicken breasts". Okay so not a stranger, a friend of mine. Still weird.

I was 13 and visiting my sister in NYC. We were on a subway when a woman came up to us and yelled in our faces "Bobby Brown didn't do it! He didn't r**e her up the a**!" I was young and confused and just replied "I know." I know that she was clearly mentally ill, but I think about that from time to time.

The he was the last one to see a girl and gave a ride to her before she went missing. Then he tried to buy me drinks and gave me his number. My guy friends drank the drinks because they didn't care and I gave the number to the cops the next day.
