Northerners are very used to handling steel and metal. They use different methods to train mages into controlling the power of the elements. Utilizing the different strength levels of various colored steel, they are able to maintain the core powers of the elements for almost a century.

The purple lighting is UV light, you can see the dice is glowing in the dark, it only took 5 sec, normal sunlight also does the job.
