In 2019, my husband and I wrote, produced and designed this little short film as an entry to a 48 hour film festival. The footage sat on our hard drives for almost a year, but now, since we have less work due to Corona, it's finally finished. We both love fables and fairytales and wanted to create a mystical world where a modern person could run into the magic mirror from Grimm's old tale. I'm also a big fan of Guillermo del Toro and Christopher Nolan and their use of practical effects, so most of the effects are in the film are done practically or with minimal editing.
