I am big into bugs, and lately I've been on a moth kick. These under-appreciated cousins of the butterfly are often fuzzier and more nocturnal, but no less fabulous. The idea for this chart began when I was talking with a friend about some moths I'd been researching, and grew into an impromptu rant about how the Deaths Head Moth was the mall goth of moths (thanks, Silence of the Lambs.) As an artist and lover of the ridiculous, of course this lead to about 50 hours of serious labor to produce a fully illustrated chart. This is important information, the world needs to know!
