i made this saree (indian traditional outfit) blouse by weaving plastic bags
the back of the saree blouse, the string is also weaved plastic.

this is is the top, the main blouse is net with weaved plastic bag for the cuffs swell. i flattened bottle tops and made beads from the logo stickers of the bottle. the print of the bottles is also displayed as the border of the saree.
i first started out by doing a painting of some crushed cans where i got the inspiration on making a saree from recycled materials
