Years ago when I was a little girl growing up in an impoverished neibhourhood in Romania, I started taking care of any and all the strays that I could because if it wasn't me-who whould ?-and my dream was to somehow fund and run an animal shelter.
My boyfriend and I along with a friend of ours we started a fashion/tailoring company called Sigma Fashion when disaster struck:one of my two cats,a black european cat called Hugo,was diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis(FIP) and I had to quit my current job to look after the him and the company and right then and there decided that any meagre funds we had left and anything that we made would go to funding and treating him as best we could...
In Hugo's memory we dedicated the Alpha Line because no matter where he is,he will firstly be in our hearts and that is the reason the line is in 3 colours – black as a tribute to him,silver because we clung to the proverbial silver lining and hoped that he'd make it somehow with the treatment we could afford and lastly gold because he was the ray of sunshine in my life and I know that wherever the little budy ended up he's looking over us and keeping an eye out.
