I Took Some Pics Of The Birds In My Backyard And Somehow They Seem Very Humane

Starlings have always have always been a class apart. They are great mockingbirds with a outrageous talent for imitating.

Mozart was delighted with songs of his starling and he felt deep sorrow when the little bird died.

Rotterdam central station has it’s own population of starlings. They are not only well known little muggers to those who are eating a portion of fries on the platforms: they have their special ways. But they are also very well known for imitating the sound of train doors closing and the conductors whistle.

Here I feel the tension of starting a long yourney the bird in the sky on the background intensifies this feeling, while the bird on the left side seems to look for the sign to spread it’s wings and lift off. Africa, here we come.

The starling seems to be looking and searching for something he apparently lost.

The whole image has this typical positive energy of something nice coming along.

A more difficult thing is the moment you realise you went over the edge in a row with your beloved one. Then regret enters the room. Not the most easy moment, but hey, it’s the start of a new level. At least I hope so.

The starling looks a bit tense, just spotting a fierce fluffy predator.

The small collared dove on the big disk, casting a strong shadow on the device, seems estranged by something that is out of sight. But I imagine someone being a bit annoyed by the bird on his disk.
The surrounding sky seems so huge in contrast to the little animal.
