My name is Ania Szot, I am from Poland and I would like to tell you all about what I am doing best: I create creatures I named Chorobeły (Illnevils) and Zmoroby (Illnmares) :) - sweet-terrible strange creatures that are personifications of human problems, emotion, disorders and mental illnesses. Their job is to uplift spirits and help people in therapy.
They are a symbol that we aren't alone with our problems.
What's also important - I am trying to educate people in my country. I try to do it in a light and friendly way to prevent the demonization of disorders and the stigmatization of sick people.
I am telling a story of my own struggles with anxiety neurosis, depression, AcoA.
I don't want to rule anyone out and focus on disorders only, so I also make strange creatures that bring smile and happiness ;)
You can order a creature of your very own design – I will gladly make it for you.
Anxiety neurosis, AcoA and depression made a great mess in my life, so for me, creating those is also a form of therapy, my biggest hobby and dream. I have done much work on my mental selfcare already, but still have a lot to do. You too never give up!
I decided to show my project pose border of my country, just to see if it can help or cheer up other people in need.
