The truth is that maybe they had a good reason for this. Plus, given that this person did help, it does seem like they are the sort to care. This might suggest that had they not helped, they would be bothered by it for the rest of the day.

For all its perils, we keep doing it. Maybe that’s because we secretly love the warm glow of knowing we made a difference, even if it costs us a little extra time, or a lot of extra headaches, down the road.
