Once a year Muslims around the world celebrate Eid. Every Muslims, including me, celebrate this special day at their hometown. After fasting Holy month, the last day ends with the Eid prayer and we follow a tradition called "sungkeman". This tradition is done by apologizing & forgiving the past mistakes made by ourselves ("sungkeman") with others and visiting our neighbours. In a simple word "mider" is sungkeman + visiting our neigbours. We would meet up with the other neighbours in one house and spend our times together. It is packed yet it brings joy to everyone. I took photos of ”mider” and this is the result.

Usually, the sentence will be answered with an apology back and connected with a prayer of the elder relatives and shared by the sungkem.

as I explained, the mider is sungkeman to the neighbor and this is the first house I visited.

sometimes in one house, we will meet other neighbors who celebrate mider, the atmosphere becomes very crowded and joy
