My son (35) lives at home and hid an opi*te ad***tion for 15 years, fueled by my mom with ad***tion issues. It was far more extensive than I could've imagined. I got wind of this when he admitted it and wanted treatment; he is now two-plus years clean and is still attending meetings. I am so proud of him, but Jesus, kids can be incredibly sneaky.
