Curvy Kate, a lingerie brand praised for embracing a far wider range of busts than many other lingerie designers, has released an ad campaign that takes a dig at Victoria's Secret, whose “Perfect Body” ad campaign drew criticism for suggesting that a perfect body could only be one that adhered to their strict (and slim) standards.
The brand, which creates bras for D-K cups, launched the ads along with their “Star in a Bra” campaign, which lets fans help them decide who their new model for 2015 will be.
After receiving a wave of criticism, Victoria's Secret changed their ad campaign's slogan to “A Body For Every Body,” but the models in the ad campaign still did little to appeal to women of different body types.
