I’d like to speak up for the nutritionists/dieticians/PTs that seem to be missing from this post.
Simply put, if a person doesn’t exercise and has a poor diet, there’s a good chance they might feel depressed. IBS-D causes your body to struggle to absorb nutrients in the duodenum.
No nutrients, no energy, then lethargy. Lack of substance in life if you’re just sitting on the toilet.
Ultimately, people can better themselves more than they know.
“Look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves”. Try looking after your body and the mind might well play ball.
