People are wrong about horses a lot. Native Americans didn't have horses before the Spanish arrived in America. Mounted calavry replaced the chariot by 400bc, so the Roman Empire didn't fight with chariots. Horses would have been very rare on a battlefield before 1300bc. And anyone riding a house before 2500bc is almost unheard of.
