I bought a new 2020 GT500 and had it dropped at a local dealer after having it clear film wrapped, i had arranged a time for the drop-off with the delivery company so was waiting when it arrived.
I had walked over from my home in shorts and tennis shoes and am heavily tattooed so probably didn't look like much of a customer to those around. The staff hadn't received a Shelby yet so sitting on the back of the truck it drew some attention from the sales guys.
One of the louder of the group of sales guys was spouting off how he had a customer for the car and would get the keys as soon as it was offloaded so he could "check it out", i had the second key in my pocket already as I already owned it so wasn't worried about too much from him.
I walked up and was touching the rims and he told me to not touch the car as he was going to check it in/out and needed it clean for his customer.
The driver walked up to me and had me sign the delivery sheet and handed me the second key and i remote started the car, and waved at the sales guy whose face was now an excellent shade of red....good day.
