Stonefish are a type of marine creature that resemble a rocky surface or stone beneath shallow water. They are able to be on land but only close to the shore. They inject venom from the spikes on its back that shoot out from under the skin. Many reports have said people step on them and they feel the pain because they can’t see it because of its rocky texture. Watch out for these fish. And rocky beaches. I hate rocky beaches. (Yes I might be a nerd for knowing this.)
