Nowadays, I travel around the globe looking for places in decline. My latest discoveries have taken me in the footsteps of the Soviet Buran spacecraft program in Baikonur (Kazakhstan). In 2017 I became a Manfrotto ambassador. In 2018, Irix, the brand of ultra-wide angle lenses of Swiss origin, proposed to me to become their ambassador.

All these places are full of sometimes happy, sometimes sad history. This is what inspires me to visit abandoned ruins. When I do go to explore, I never bring back other memories of places apart from my photos. I believe that these places deserve the respect of visitors to stay as they are.

In my future explorations, I’m looking forward to visiting Fukushima city. That is my next trip.
When planning my trips, I spend a lot of time researching the locations on satellite images or old newspaper articles. This is not just a hobby of mine, I am a professional photographer, and I devote almost all my time to this activity.
So, future explorers, it's time to look around because there are many abandoned places even where you are. You just have to keep your eyes open and be curious.
